Data collected during website visits
When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, region West Europe) automatically records information in server logs that your browser transmits:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Time-zone offset from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- Content of the request (specific page)
- HTTP status code
- Data volume transferred
- Referring website
- Browser, operating system, language
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering the website and ensuring IT security). Retention: typically 14 days.
Hosting
We host our website with Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin 18, Ireland. The provider processes the data listed above under a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Processing region: West Europe.
Microsoft belongs to a group headquartered in the USA. Processing normally takes place in the West Europe region; access from a third country – for example during support or maintenance – cannot be fully excluded. Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). In addition, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
Fonts, icons and external resources
We use the typefaces Overpass, JetBrains Mono and PT Root UI. These are served exclusively from our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties such as Google.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies that require consent. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising tools.

Our website contains links to external services (in particular the LinkedIn profiles of our founders and OpenStreetMap on the contact page). When you follow these links you leave our area of responsibility; the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
Contact inquiries
When you contact us by email or phone, your details are stored to process the inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. Storage only as long as necessary for the processing purpose.
